If ever there was a time when we needed more holidays to make us smile, it’s now. Don’t worry, that’s why you have the internet. Need cheering up? Send in the dogs! And boy, have we got a good one today. January 14th is Dress Up Your Pet Day–yup, that’s a real thing. To celebrate today’s joyous occasion, we’ve curated some of the cutest dressed up dogs we could find on Instagram. Join us for one big collective“aww!” in 3...2...1!
Formalwear
At this point, it might have been months since you’ve even worn real pants, so let these dogs remind you how dressing up is done!
Maddie here is serving pure glamour. We just know the only thing that sparkles more than this fabulous bow is her personality.

Casualwear
Now casualwear is definitely more the speed we’ve all been at these days, right? But these pooches make casual lookgood.
When curating these looks, we saw a lot of dogs in glasses, but no one pulled them off quite like Boey the Italian Greyhound.
When in doubt, you can never go wrong with a funny t-shirt. And by the way, there’s nothing wrong with living with your parents, Tommy.
Fern knows that just because it’s cold doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style to stay cozy!
Dogs in Costumes
You didn’t think we’d leave out costumes, did you? There’s just nothing like a cute dog in a fun outfit to get that serotonin flowing, is there? Here are some of our absolute favorites.
Loki, the Whippet, is rocking his custom handmade dino costume. It’s so cute that we bet you didn’t notice the camouflage is actually made up of dinosaurs too. Made you look, didn’t we?
Moxie’s artist costume shows a real commitment to a theme with excellent use of scenery and props. C’est magnifique!
There are almost no words for how cute Tater and Roland look in their bacon costume. This look was for National Bacon Day (yes, there’s a holiday for everything!) on December 30th, but we won’t tell if you want to celebrate both bacon and costumes today.
WHOOSH! Look, up in the air! It’s a super Frenchie! Dunkin the Frenchie is absolutely the hero we all need right now.
